Welcome to Heal Hate. Our Mission is to team with people just like you and change people’s hearts and minds both nationally and globally.

To achieve peace and tranquility seems impossible because of the sheer number of people who haven't yet mastered themselves, who haven't tamed their ambition to raise themselves up at the expense of others, and who haven't learned to start from today onward, letting past wrongs committed by both sides remain in the past. In short, it seems an impossible feat because we're in desperately short supply of human beings who are experts at living.

An expert at living isn't a person who never experiences greed, anger, or stupidity but rather one who remains in firm control of those negative parts (which can never be entirely eliminated), who's able to surmount his or her darkest negativity, and displays a peerless ability to resolve conflict peacefully. What generates this expert ability to resolve conflict? Wisdom and joy. Wise people are happy people, and happy people are wise. If enough people in the world's population became happy and wise, violence would be used far less often to solve conflict. If this pool of experts at living became large enough, we'd start seeing some of our leaders being picked from among them. And if enough leaders were experts at living, war, too, would be used far less often to solve conflict and further the interests of nations.

There is SO MUCH hubbub about this in recent years.

Racism affects EVERYONE.
Whites, Blacks, Yellows, Reds, Greens, Blues, Purples…Christians, Jewish, Muslims, even Buddhists. It affects ALL PEOPLE.

Not one section of society is racism-free. If you think that “your group” is completely racism-free, then you’re kidding yourself.

Racism IS LEARNED. No one is born with hatred in their hearts. We learn that stuff. But there is hope – for all of us.

God gave us each a free-thinking BRAIN. So, we each get to decide for ourselves if the crap being spewed in the media, or on social media, or in the songs we listen to or the movies and TV shows that we watch, and even things told to us by our loved ones…WE get to decide what is true for us individually.

Also note that because someone has a different view or belief does NOT mean that they are racist and against everything that you support. It just means that they have a differing opinion or belief. I am so tired of hearing/reading about racism. I don’t think there was this much of it in the 70’s, for crying out loud.

Just because your environment is swirling with racism, doesn’t mean that you must also. You can BE THE CHANGE. Live what you know is right. Society has been leery and hateful of differing races since the beginning of time. So, unfortunately it won’t go away in one day. But persistence against racism over time WILL change some hearts.

No one can save the world. But each of us has the ability to make a difference and change our immediate space. So I challenge everyone reading this to engage positively with people that differ from you. Differ in skin color, religion, political views, etc. Challenge yourselves to see the other side. Begin a dialog with someone different. If for nothing else than to get info firsthand, not thru the grapevine – filtered by the perceptions of others.

Pam Drake

To say this can happen overnight is crazy. But I have seen many ideas less likely to succeed than the one I'm proposing here. You may think that I am a hopelessly naive and none of this is possible, but as John Lennon famously sang, I'm not the only one. We need to summon the courage to even voice a commitment to the goal. We can't worry about if it can be done at all, or how long it might take. It can be done. It will take a long, long time. But the argument that it can't be done and therefore shouldn't be attempted is the argument of cowards. If there weren't people throughout our history who refused to listen to that logic, we'd all still be living in caves.

So, take this opportunity today and join our movement, share our social media channel, shop our store, support our cause but most of all share a smile, share some love and Help Heal Hate.

Spread the word! The more people who find out about our movement, the more support it will get. So post a link to our site on your Facebook page or include it in your email-signature.  You can always donate anonymously. Rather than a one-off donation, you can become somewhere in the “real world”.
